1907 Census Index

Did your ancestors live in Okmulgee before statehood? In 1907, a bare-bones (name only) Territorial Census was taken solely to determine Oklahoma’s future number of Representatives. Only names were recorded, and over the past century, almost all of these records were lost.

Fortunately, the 1907 census for the city of Okmulgee survived. The OCGS holds a copy of this rare document.
